Bloodangel armor sets offer great defenses and are designed for tier 3 character classes. You'll want to start using these items as soon as you've become master level. You can obtain excellent mastery set items from hunting monsters in Nars or Uruk. Ancient items possible got from NPC Priest James. He has an item shop which offers items in exchange for CR, in Elveland.
